  • Know that they are valuable for who they are-a loved child of God
  • Nursery

Children are met each week by a paid nursery worker to ensure structure and consistency. Children are divided by age and the classroom names are listed below. The nursery is open from 9:20 to 11:40

    MISSION KIDS!

    FCPC’s mission program for children, K-5th grades, is called Mission Kids! Each child who accepts the challenge to become a "Mission Kid" embarks on an adventure to help in various local, national, and international missions and works as a helper for God in making a difference in His world! They are motivated and empowered into becoming missionaries and in the process continue to grow spiritually. This program is separate from Sunday School and Wednesday night programs and meets several times per year. Examples of missions include:

    * picking up trash in Fountain City Park;

    * planting dogwood trees in the churchyard;

    * visiting and delivering goodie bags to Parkview Assisted Living residents;

    * collecting canned corn for Fountain City Ministry Center;

    * collect change for various charities like Pennies for Peace;

    * Rice Bowls and Family Promise;

    * cleaning resident rooms at the Cerebral Palsy House;

    * sending letters to U. S. Troops;

    * collecting seed packets to send with Belize Mission Team to families in Belize;

    * preparing and serving lunch to Habitat for Humanity volunteers;

    *assemble meal bags for VMC residents.

    At the end of each mission, they leave knowing they did something truly important, something God wanted them to, and they can't wait until they return for their next mission assignment.
